Al-Qaabid (The Withholder, The Restrainer, or The One Who Contracts.)
Means that Allah is the One who withholds sustenance, mercy, or provisions according to His divine wisdom. He contracts and restricts as He wills, for reasons known to Him alone.
Allah is Al-Qaabid—The Restrainer who tests His servants by limiting their wealth, health, or opportunities, not out of cruelty, but to guide, purify, and awaken hearts. His withholding is never random—it is always just, purposeful, and rooted in mercy.
