Sunnah — The Way of the Prophet ﷺ
Live Islam as Practised by the Prophet ﷺ
The Sunnah is the Qur’an lived: the words, actions and approvals of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. An authentic guide for belief, worship and character.
السُّنَّةُ النَّبَوِيَّة
What is the Sunnah?
Sunnah means “path”: how the Prophet ﷺ lived and taught the Qur’an in daily practice. It is not an addition, but the faithful, lived interpretation.
«Whoever obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah.» (Qur’an 4:80)
The Sunnah clarifies and details the application of the Qur’an.
“I have been given the Qur’an and something like it along with it.” (Abu Dawud)
Indicates that the Sunnah is revelation in its meaning.
