The Humanity

How were we created ?

Allah SWT decreed that He would place a khalifah on Earth, and Adam (AS) was that khalifah, the first of mankind.

Allah SWT created Adam (AS) from clay. After shaping Adam (AS), Allah SWT gave him life by breathing His spirit into him.

"Remember, O Prophet, when your Lord said to the angels, 'I am going to create a human being from clay. So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him a spirit of My Own creation, fall down in prostration to him.'" Quran 38:71-72

What is the purpose ?

The purpose of humanity is to worship Allah (SWT).

"I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me." Quran 51:56

The Big Test

This life is a test, it is not meant for us to indulge in worldly pleasures, as the true objective lies in the Hereafter, the Akhirah, which is eternal. Our actions in this world, the Dunya, will determine our ranks in the next life, potentially leading us to either Jahannam (Hell) or Jannah (Paradise).

"˹He is the One˺ Who created death and life in order to test which of you is best in deeds. And He is the Almighty, All-Forgiving." Quran 67:2

The Guidance of Allah (SWT)

To guide us, Allah (SWT) sent messengers and prophets (Rasul and Nabi).

Rasul

Messengers hold a higher status. They bring a new Shari'ah (law) or book given by Allah (SWT) to teach and warn the people. The Rasuls of Allah (SWT) are Musa (AS), David (AS), Jesus (AS), and Muhammad (SAW).

"O Children of Adam! If there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting to you, My Verses, then whosoever becomes pious and righteous, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." Quran 7:35

Nabi

Prophets deliver the message of Allah (SWT), but it was not given to them directly. Instead, it was given to those who came before them (the Rasul). Harun (AS) was a Nabi who delivered the message that Allah (SWT) gave to Musa (AS).

"And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet." Quran 19:53

Rasul of the Rasul

We are all messengers of the Messenger of Allah (SWT), Muhammad (SAW). We have received the message, and our duty is to learn it, practice it, and teach it to others.

When Muhammad (SAW) sent Mu'adh ibn Jabal (RA) to Yemen to instruct the people, the Prophet said:

"Praise be to Allah Who has guided the messenger of the Messenger of Allah to that which pleases the Messenger of Allah." Sunan Abi Dawud 3592

By saying this, the Prophet affirmed that those who convey the message of the Messenger of Allah (SWT) are guided by Allah (SWT) and that by transmitting the message, they please the Messenger of Allah (SWT). This makes him a Messenger of the Messenger of Allah (SWT), a status that applies to all of us when we see something wrong and strive to correct it by conveying the message of Muhammad (SAW).

The Prophets Of Allah (SWT)

Adam (AS)

Prophet Adam (AS) is the first human being and the first prophet of Islam. He was shaped by Allah (SWT) from clay and granted life when Allah (SWT) breathed His spirit into him. Adam (AS) and his wife Hawwa (AS) were initially placed in Paradise. However, after being tempted by Shaitan and eating from the forbidden tree, they were sent down to Earth to live and begin humanity.
